This is the triskalion in circle with stone. The stone is a 5 mm cabochon, though a faceted stone is also possible though not advised for this design because our style (bas relief, rounded top, flat bottom) is the same, really, as a cabochon. The stone shown here is a garnet. Other stones sacred to the goddess include amethyst, moonstone, ruby, carnelian, hematite, onyx and black sapphire. If the ocean reminds you of the goddess then sapphire, lapis lazuli, and iolite are appropriate. If you want to refer to the earth goddess then any green stone such as emerald, malachite, green onyx, peridot or green jade would be appropriate. |
