Triskalion in Circle
Triskelion (or triskele), Greek for "three-legged," is a symbol consisting of three bent human legs, or, more generally, three interlocked spirals, or any similar symbol with three protrusions and a threefold rotational symmetry (without any reflection symmetries).A triskelion is the symbol of Sicily, where it is called Trisceli, and the Isle of Man, and a symbol of Brittany; the Sicilian and Manx triskelions feature three running legs, bent at the knee, conjoined at the crotch. The relation of the legged triskele to other variants is unclear. Spiral forms of the triskele are often classed as solar symbols, while the legged version, sometimes including a gorgon mask or Medusa's head at the central axle point in the Sicilian version, suggests a chthonic significance. |

Triskalion in Circle, 14kt Gold
Believed by many to be an ancient symbol of pre-Celtic and Celtic beliefs, the triple spiral appears in various forms in pre-Celtic and Celtic art, with the earliest examples having been carved on pre-Celtic stone monuments, and later examples found in the Celtic Christian illuminated manuscripts of Insular art. The triple spiral was possibly the precursor to the later triskele design found in the manuscripts. What the symbol meant to the pagans who built Newgrange and other monuments is unknown. In more recent history, Celtic Christians have sometimes used it to represent the Christian Trinity. Neopagan religions such as Celtic Reconstructionist Paganism and Wicca use the symbol to represent a variety of triplicities from their belief systems. |

Triskalion in Circle with Stone
The Celtic symbol of three conjoined spirals may well have had triple significance similar to the imagery that lies behind the triskelion. That spiral motif is a Neolithic symbol in Western Europe: it is carved into the rock of a stone lozenge near the main entrance of the prehistoric Newgrange in County Meath, Ireland. Because of its Celtic associations, it is also used as a symbol of Brittany (alongside the hermine). In the north of Spain, the triskelion is used as a symbol of Galizan and Asturian nationalists. A similar symbol called lábaro by Cantabrian regionalist can be compared to the neighboring Basque culture's four-branched lauburu. A possibly related symbol of Germanic origin is the Valknut. |

Triskalion in Circle, 14kt Gold with Sapphire
The prices here are for this 14kt gold piece with a somewhat less expensive than a AAA grade blue sapphire - which, like rubies and diamonds and emeralds, are some of the most expensive stones in the world! Sapphires, like rubies and diamonds and certain other precious gemstones jump precipitously in price in relatively small increments of size. The small's stone is 4 mm in diameter, the medium, 5 mm and the large 6 mm in diameter. It is, of course possible to put any stone, cabachon or faceted, in the center of the triskalion in circle. |

Triskalion in Circle with Stone Ring
Here's another split band style ring - open style, this time with a high quality (AAA grade) natural cornflower blue sapphire in the center. The stone added an extra $50 to this ring. |

Triskalion in Circle with Stone Earrings
This pair of earrings match the ring above and I cannot remember how I managed to find 3 spectacular cornflower blue sapphire cabochons like that! The prices given are for more prosaic (no less lovely of course) stones. Single earring is available - likes long walks on the beach. |

Turtle
Known in the Orient as Ka-Me, the turtle is there associated with longevity. In India, the universe is said to rest on the back of an elephant, which is sitting on a turtle, which is also sitting on a turtle - in fact it's turtles all the way down. For more "urban legends" about this see the enlargement. To Native Americans the turtle signifies Mother Earth. This piece looks great with an oval stone in the center, call or email for details. |

Unicursal Hexagram
The Unicursal Hexagram, a Crowleyan and Thelemic symbol, is the hexagram redesigned to become an endless knot symbolizing the interweaving of elemental energies that are impenetrable by malign forces and the union of opposites (fire and water). New Agers see it as the creation of the New Age from the Old Age - an inevitable outcome from this fresh design. A vernuil ruby in the middle makes it especially Crowleyan as it refers to his addition to the design - a 5 petaled rose. Add $10 for a small lab grown ruby - lots more if you want a real ruby or even a vernuil star ruby (which has a perfect star though). |

Unicursal Hexagram with Stone
A ruby in the middle makes it especially Crowleyan. Rubies are one of those really expensive truly 'precious' stones - a 3 mm AAA (for the small) can be had for an additional $50. A 5 mm AAA (for the large) can be had for an additional $500! 'Precious' seems to mean "bloody big jump!". Lots of prices less of course for lab grown stones. The prices above are for the exquisite, but more modest, stones. We can even make one with a 5 petaled rose in the center AND a ruby on top of that if you like! How Crowleyan is that. |

Unicursal Hexagram, 14kt Gold
Here's what "Satanic Reds" has to say about the unicursal hexagram: The unicursal hexagram would be a glyph of Light stretching in and out of Darkness/Infinity. Crowley calls his creation the hexagram of the Beast. What Beast? I say it is the natural man (symbolized by the number 6: hence the hexagram); he with a living Flame. The number 6 (the hexagram) could also be seen as representing Kronos, but the meaning would be the same; the Beast is he who flows through Time. The lines would be the Electro Magnetism, or the Elektros Diastasis-Phos part of it (the symbol actually looks a bit like to two EM symbols reflecting each other) and the depth of the symbol would be the Mychos part. If drawn inside a circle this would symbolize Kyklos. The point inside the unicursal hexagram looks like a 5-petalled flower, might it be a rose? Take that! Oh yeah - this is the unicursal hexagram in 14kt gold! |

Unicursal Hexagram, 14kt Gold, Ruby
Combined with the Marian Rose, the unicursal hexagram becomes Crowley's personal sigil, which is the magical union of 5 and 6 giving 11, the number of magick and new beginnings. Naturally the 14kt gold unicursal hexagram looks great with a genuine ruby in the middle. We can even make one with a 5 petaled rose in the center AND a ruby on top of that if you like! In silver or gold. Crowley to the nth degree. Like the several piece above these prices are for a more modest stone than a genuine ruby. |

Unicursal Hexagram in Circle, 14kt Gold
This 14 karat gold hexagram is shown within a circle. The actual size of the piece shown here is Extra Small. Stones can be added to this unicursal also. No, it's not your eyes or our site - the "circle" is more of an ovalish circle due to the shape of the unicursal hexagram. Are you getting tired of me telling you to email us before you buy gold? Sorry - please do it anyway :) |

The ankh is a symbol for eternal life. Here we have modified the symbol to represent the immortality of the undead. Valknut (Odin's Knot)
The valknot is Odin's symbol, a powerful sign with many complex meanings. The triple knot represents the triple nature of Odin as High, Just As High, and Third. There are two kinds of valknots, the unicursal, which is one continuous ribbon knotted upon itself, and the triple version which is made by entwining three separate triangles (ours is the entwined triangles though we can make the unicursal one). The triple structure of the valknot represents the three main vertical divisions of the universe along the axis of Yggdrasil: the Heaven worlds, Middle Earth, and the Subterranean worlds. Valknot means the "Knot of the Slain", representing those dedicated to Odin. The knot is symbolic of it's wearer's bond to Odin, and is also symbolic of the noose by which sacrifices to Odin were hanged. When one consciously wears the valknot, one is saying "it is a good day to die." In other words, the wearer is ready to come to Odin whenever he calls. The valknot should not be worn on the person unless one understands its (quite serious) implications, and has dedicated themselves to Odin. To give oneself to him is not a sacrifice of free will, but an alignment with his divine intentions. Far from chaining the spirit, the Odin's bond is a symbol of ultimate spiritual liberation. There is no evidence that the valknot should be displayed either point up or point down; this doesn't matter or have a positive or negative connotation as some believe of the pentagram. On Viking age memorial stones, on which we see Valknots carved, they appear in both forms. NOTE: - these are the words of an Odinist. Feel free to buy and wear a valknut even if you have not dedicated yourself to Odin.....:) |
