Popularized by Thee Temple of Psychic Youth, three armed crosses like this are magickal symbols referring, among other ideas, to the integration of body, mind, and spirit. This cross also alludes to a TV antenna because TOPY and its descendants believe in transformation of/& through the media by acts of poetic terrorism. A three armed cross that looks completely different from this refers to the crucifixion of Christ

A friend of ours asked us to cap a boar's tusk so that she could wear it. This was a gift so she was somewhat surprised when she received it. To see it you need to click the enlargement, but the piece is sterling silver with a spiky chaosphere and ruby. The jump ring is not visible but is at the top. Mark has capped all kinds of teeth and claws, including bear, prehistoric tiger, and fossills, and even human as well as, of course, crystals. If you'd like a tooth or claw capped please make sure that it is completely clean before sending it. Your dentist can help you here. This tusk was about 4 inches long. Our friend named it "The Imperial Fang." A cap similar to this would run $150.

When the Tetragrammaton manifested the Universe out of Ain Soph Aur, the Almighty One used the template of the English Cabala, the 10 Sephiroth. This stunning interpreation of the Tree of Life in heavy gauge 14kt gold with colored gemstones was made as a special order Mother's Day gift from a son to his mother (who had 10 children)! The gemstones all refer to the birthstones of the children, are faceted, 5 mm in diameter, high quality, and include emerald, alexandrite, ruby, peridots, aquamarines and amethyst. What a gift! This symbol is used by both magicians and members of AA - for the magician the triangle is a place to hold the summoned spirit, for the AA member it is a symbol of the integration of personality (see above). This version has a stone in the center - the best stone for AA is amethyst for it means "not drunken" in Greek. Magicians can take their pick of stone. This symbol represents the triune nature of the goddess. Here the Triple Goddess is seen as the waning, waxing and full moon at the center (which is represented by a moonstone) and stands as a symbol of female magickal energy. Often depicted on a pentagram for power, protection and more magick, it here stands alone as female/moon magick. Other stones can be used of course. Even the dark side of the goddess can be portrayed with hematite or black onyx, as the creator side can be with garnet or ruby. This is one of our favorite pieces for its power and its anonymity. Another cross-cultural archetype is the three goddesses of fate. In Greek Mythology there are the Moirae; in Norse mythology there are the Norns. The Weird Sisters of Shakespeare's Macbeth and Wyrd Sisters of Terry Pratchett's novel of the same name are most definitely inspired by these deities. (In Pratchett's work, they are referred to as "the maiden, the mother, and... the other one", as everyone is quite afraid of calling Granny Weatherwax a "crone".)

This Celtic knot design signifies the three aspects of the Goddess - again! The three yoni or vesica piscis shapes are interwoven with the circle of the Divine - the universe. This is an ancient symbol - Norse, Celtic - but that didn't stop the Christians from claiming it: The symbol was later used by Christians as a symbol of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Now this is cool - 3's of 3's of 3's: The celebration of the life-thresholds was from early times in the hands of woman and was repressed comparatively recently. That is why the Three Fates, the Three Graces and the Three Furies were said to be sisters. When the women presided over the blessing of the child at birth and who acted as midwives they served the Fates, when they performed the traditional dances and songs for blessing weddings and acted as bridesmaids they served the Graces and when they fulfilled the role of professional mourners and psychopomp they served the Furies.

Trisexual (sometimes trysexual) is either an extension of, or a pun on bisexual. In its more serious usage, it indicates an interest in transgender persons in addition to men and women born and raised as men and women called "cissexual." In its more humorous usage, it refers to someone who will try any sexual experience. It is used in the song "La Vie Boheme" in the Broadway musical "Rent"

Triskelion is a symbol consisting of three bent human legs, or, more generally, three interlocked spirals, or any similar symbol with three protrusions and a threefold rotational symmetry (without any reflection symmetries).A triskelion is the symbol of Sicily, where it is called Trisceli, and the Isle of Man, and a symbol of Brittany; the Sicilian and Manx triskelions feature three running legs, bent at the knee, conjoined at the crotch. The relation of the legged triskele to other variants is unclear. Spiral forms of the triskele are often classed as solar symbols, while the legged version, sometimes including a gorgon mask or Medusa's head at the central axle point in the Sicilian version, suggests a chthonic significance.

The Celtic symbol of three conjoined spirals may well have had triple significance similar to the imagery that lies behind the triskelion. That spiral motif is a Neolithic symbol in Western Europe: it is carved into the rock of a stone lozenge near the main entrance of the prehistoric Newgrange in County Meath, Ireland. Because of its Celtic associations, it is also used as a symbol of Brittany.

We call this type of ring a split band ring although it is actually cut from a single sheet of sterling silver. The circle around the triskalion is texture finished, the triskalion is flush soldered to the circle and both the band and the triskalion are polished to a high shine.
