The snake eating its tail is a symbol for eternity, a Gnostic Symbol for the World Serpent or Dragon that protects the Cosmic Egg (that's us). He is also known as the Worm Ourobouros - for more worms, see the W's. The worm, like the dragon, has come to symbolize the cyclic process of time - birth-death-rebirth. With the pentagram in the middle the symbol unifies magick with the multiverse. It is power and protection.

Curiously it took a request from a customer before we realized that we were missing this obvious variation of the Pentagram/Snake. Here the snake eating its tail symbolizing the cyclic and seasonal movements of nature combines with the sexual and earth energy of the inverted pentagram in a clear image of interdependence and circularity. The black onyx is one of many stones that would be appropriate. The design may be made without a stone for $35, $40, $60 and $75 .

Mark found an image of Anton Lavey wearing a pendant similar to this one. The siegel rune is one of the Eldar Futhark runes and any of this rune system can be placed on a pentagram. The siegel is a stylized lightning bolt and, doubled, is the insignia of the SS. There's a link between the occultism of Nazi Germany and both the Church of Satan and the Temple of Set. How seriously this link is taken is difficult to know.

Here is the LaVey piece with a circle, a fancy bail, and in 14kt gold. It is less expensive with a standard jump ring and considerably less without the circle. It is, regardless, a sustantial piece. Mark thinks this and the piece above may have something to do with the Rite of the Nine Angles.

Found throughout human history, the Horned God has always represented the unknown, and usually, sexual energy. In the form of Baphomet this deity represents the life force of planet Earth. Caricatured as "the devil" by Christians, this hunter's God may have been the earliest divinity worshipped by human beings. Lucifer, Set, Pan, Ahriman, Leviathan, and Baphomet are some of his names.

Here is the same design as above, but with the letters NOX cut out and soldered to the top - per a particular customer's request. You can customize this symbol any way you like for a small extra charge. Mark's personal Baphomet pendant, for example, has a Tibetan skull at the top - which would cost a bit more. This is a custom piece and not for sale as is. You need to email us if you want a customized Baphomet.

You can have godnames stamped and oxidized around the rim of the Extra Large Baphomet. In the image shown the names are Baphomet, Babalon, Luxferro, Azazel and Inana. More commonly the names are Baphomet, Lucifer, Set, Pan, Ahriman, and Leviathan. If the words fit, you can even have an invocation to the Horned God stamped around the rim.

In this design The Horned One is within a rim representing the World Snake, the Worm Ourouborous. This is a spectacular design with deeply stamped lines representing the snake's scales. The Snake also represents the cyclical nature of natural phenomena - birth-death-rebith; time and the multiverse.

One of the most popular images of the god Baphomet is of the Horned One's head in the middle of a double circle pentagram with the Hebrew letters for Leviathan between the two circles. Most recently, though strangely, commemorated in the second "Hellraiser" movie, Leviathan is a dark angel, ruler of Hell, or the dark or hidden places of the human psyche. The Temple of Set and the Church of Satan use variations of this design.

This very large Baphomet is a one of a kind pendant, forged and created with a series of layers of sterling silver. It is a very complex, 3 dimesnional, sculptural piece. The central horn is a flame, an element popularized by both Eliphaz Levi and Geiger. This piece was about 2 1/3 inches in diameter and cosisted of 5 layers.
There was only ONE of this design. This was sold at $500. Mark would be happy to make another custom Baphomet of this kind of complexity but it would not be the same as this.

The pentagram without a circle, a five pointed star, bears the same symbolism as the pentagram, but the circle, which usually stands for the Divine or for completeness, is absent. In Pythagorean mysticism the pentagram stands for the human being (a figure with arms and legs outstretched). Pythagoreans used the symbol as a wish for good health. We also produce a wiccan order design with a triangle above the 5 Pointed Star.

The Celtic pentagram has the same wondrous meaning as all the other pentagrams - but this one has an internal circle (still a significator for the divine) interwoven through an already interwoven star. It is a typical Celtic design of the simpler sort and reflects the early Celts life view: everything from birth to death, from wonderful to horrifying is interwoven to the point of being one. Though we can't do an extra small in this design, we can do an extra large.

The Triple Goddess depicts the waxing, full and waning moon, with the full moon being represented by a moonstone. The Triple Goddess is soldered to a pentagram, unifying the symbolism of the pentagram with that of the Goddess in her three forms as creator, preserver, destroyer (mother night). Any stone can be placed in the center, usually at no additional cost - but the moonstone does represent the full moon. The next best choice is to represent the new (or no) moon - garnet, silver obsidian (which looks like a starry hematite) or black onyx. In this image a moonstone is placed in the center and the pentagram is textured - - dramatic! You can have it without the texturing too. This design doesn't work done any smaller than a medium.

Unlike her sister above, which is clearly on the side of the light in magick (even with a dark stone), the Inverted Pentagram, as always, refers to sexual magick, and with the Triple Goddess, to the dark side of the Goddess as Kali the Destroyer. You can't have creation without destruction - but you knew that! Usually the central stone is black, a hematite or black onyx, symbolizing the dark side of the moon but garnet (red moon) also looks wonderful. The pentagram in this piece can also be textured (and oxidized) if you like. But, like the above piece, it doesn't look good smaller than medium.
- CUSTOM PIECE
Another example of our custom work. This 10 pointed star is comprised of two interlocking pentagrams, one inverted. The center of the design contains a double crescent triple goddess symbol with a yin yang symbol in the middle. This complex symbol refers to the movement of symbolic universal bipolar duality radiating to infinite complexity.
