Kanji Symbol
This is an example of Japanese Kanji letters incised into a block of sterling silver and oxidized. Chinese pictographs, runes, or any other types of letters can be executed this way. Designs similar to this, which is 15mm wide by 50mm tall, would cost $200. Email us your kanji and we'll give you a price. |

Kanji Symbol, 14kt Gold and Silver
This is another method of doing kanji designs. The lettering on pieces like this can be 14kt gold or sterling high shine, with a textured background. Sterling, of course, would be considerably less expensive. This method allows the Kanji to be very exact. Pieces similar to this would start at $125 - see below - depending on the size and the amount of gold. This piece was 3" long by 1" wide and a comparably sized piece would run $500. Email us with an image of the kanji lettering you want, the metals and size, and we'll give you a quote. The kanji here, by the way, reads "tattoo master". It was made for Henri Montegut, a fine New Orleanian tattooist, whose work both Pam and I proudly - - and exclusively wear. |

Kanji: Love, 14kt Gold and Sterling Silver
So here's an example of a 14kt kanji on a sterling silver plaque. This is the kanji for 'love' so we thought it might be popular with you romantics softies out there. It's about half the size of the one above and is exquisate. |

Kanji: Zen
The Japanese were introduced to Chinese characters in the 1st century. Kanji - and other forms of calligrophy and writing - probably began in the 5th century. In modern Japanese, kanji are used to write parts of the language such as nouns, adjective stems and verb stems, while hiragana - another writing style - are used to write inflected verb and adjective endings, particles, native Japanese words, and words where the kanji is too difficult to read or remember. Katakana is used for representing onomatopoeia and non-Japanese loanwords. |

Key of Willingness/ AA Third Step Key
The willingness to adopt spiritual principles is the key to awakening. The three notches on the key refer to honesty, open mindedness, and willingness. A triangle in a circle represents the union of body, mind and spirit in the circle of the divine and is the symbol for Alcoholics Anonymous. Keys are also available for Al-Anon and Narcotics Anonymous. |

AA Third Step Key/Key of Willingness, 14kt Gold
Here is the key of willingness in 14kt gold. This is a great gift from a sponser to a sponsee or vice versa! |

Key to Hell
Well known to readers of the Sandman comic novels, this design is similar to the Key to Hell Lucifer gave Morpheus when he relinquished his role as Lord of the Underworld. Use this modern magickal charm as a means to get out of a negative situation or at least to let the difficulty be the fuel for your liberation! The key is sterling silver, oxidized black and burnished so it won't rub off, at least with minimal care. |

Key to Hell, 14kt Gold
We made this piece as a special order. Our customer said it was vibrating in his hand when he received it! We suspect this was more his magickal energy than ours, but the Key is powerful, in either silver or 14kt gold. |

Knife Through the Heart
The knife through the heart is a symbol of passion and revenge and, of course, heartbreak. This piece is made out of a fabricated knife (not sharp - sorry) and a fabricated heart. Though it appears that you can withdraw the knife from the heart, you can't (sorry again). But the piece does say, loud and clear - I'LL GET YOU YET! Or more romantically, my love for you has pierced me to the heart. This design is based on tattoo flash by Zulueta, which itself was based on sailors' tats. It is also an army insignia. |

Labrys
This is a double-headed axe sacred to the goddess in her warrior form. A ceremonial scepter at Delphi, this symbol represents earth power. Remembered for its Amazon associations, the axe has been adopted as an amulet for lesbians as the power side of feminism. Upside down, however, it is a variant of a Barbarian (think Conan the Barbarian) Battle Axe. As a feminine piece, this also looks great with a moonstone or an amethyst in the center. |

Labrys, 14kt Gold with Stone
This is a the Labrys with a ruby in 14kt gold. Any of the designs we make can be fabricated in karat gold. The piece as shown has a lab grown ruby. This piece can be had without a stone for $15 to $25 less. Just email us if you want another stone, the labrys without a stone, or a natural ruby. |

Lambda
Originating in Sparta, the ancient Greek warrior state, where warriors were encouraged to pair off as lovers and then look out for each other on the battlefield, which decreased the slaughter of battle, it is naturally a symbol of gay male love. The lambda is the Greek letter "L" and stands for gay liberation. |

Lizard Earrings with 14kt Gold & Emeralds
This pair of post earring lizards, with 14kt gold spines and sterling silver body and head (a complicated laminated piece) and emeralds was inspired by Mark chipping an emerald that he was setting and Pam saying it looked like a bite had been taken out of it. Combine that with Pam's love of lizards and you have emerald eating reptiles! Other stones can be used, of course. This pair of earrings cost $700. These are AA grade emeralds - a higher grade would cost more, other stones considerably less. The yellowish cast to the silver is the gold spine reflected. Email us for the many options - including a pendant or a single earring. |

Logo (Heart/Hand)
This is an example of a logo for, in this case, a charitable organization in California, executed as a pendant. If your company has a logo that you'd like to have made into jewelry, email us . This particular logo was made into pendants, cuff links, key chains, and tie tacks, in sterling silver and also in 14 karat gold, as gifts for donors at the organization's annual fund raising gala. |

Logo (Flame)
This is another example of a logo. In this case the company's logo is an abstract flame emblem. The company provided a printed logo, which required some adaptation to jewelry (most print logos do). This logo, and all other custom work we do is not available for sale, except to the people who commissioned it. We are scrupulous about protecting designs and never add one to our line without permission. Email us if you want to know more. |

Lotus with Stone
A symbol for karma, the law of cause and effect, the lotus is a female generative symbol, incorporating all four elements unified. The lotus roots in earth, floats in water, breathes in air, and grows by the fire of the sun. The lotus is sacred to Laksmi and Kali, and in Egypt to Hathor. Any stone can be put in the center but the more vibrant the better, it seems. This is a green tourmaline. |

Flat Lotus with Stone
Another styleof lotus as a layered piece with a very large stone in the center. In lotus visualization meditations this is the type of lotus that is usually visualized - with a glowing aum in the center instead of a stone. The stone shown here is a large cabochon garnet. Malachite, carnelian, black onyx, jade, and hematite are all inexpensive stones that work well with this piece. Moonstones, amethysts, peridot, garnet, and, of course, emeralds, all cost more. This can be made as a large - with a GIGANTIC stone and consequent increase in price! |

Lotus with Yin Yang
This interesting design incorporates the symbolism of the law of cause and effect which is embodied in the lotus with the Tai Chi, or yin yang, a symbol that stands for not only the dynamic bipolarity of opposites but also that each "fish" (1/2 of the yin yang) is constantly becoming the other and already has a spot of the other in it. Birth, Karma, Balance, & Unity! What a symbol! |

Lunate Cross
This is an earth center cross combined with the four phases of the moon as stylized crescents at the ends of the arms of the cross and so symbolizes the union of earth and water. The lunar elements also associate this sign with the goddess. But this cross is also known as the vampire cross. By the way - not all earth center crosses have equal arms, obviously, though to a Christian, the extended bottom arm will always signify Christ - which is I'm sure, fine with vampires, who often feel an exquisite longing for Christ ! |

|
Inverted Lunate Cross
Most of the symbols of early man developed from acute observation of the environment, particularly unusual events. The cross undoubtedly originates from the observation of two sticks crossed. This inverted cross references sexuality, but in this case the alignment is of sexuality and death, birth and death. |

Male Symbol
Popularized recently by the Austen Powers movies (in fact we made one 4" tall!) this symbol, like the female symbol, represents the gender in terms of its relationship to the divine. The male symbol is the astrological symbol for Mars - like the female it is composed of the circle of the divine but instead of an earth cross it has an arrow pointing to the stars - a symbol of war but also of farsightedness. |

|
|
|||||||||||||
|
14kt Gold Male Symbol
The circle represents the divine, and the arrow, a phallic extension, issues forth from it. This sign is also the sign for Mars, the god of war. As with all the symbols, this symbol can be made any size you like, but not much smaller than the extra small. |

|
|
|||||||||||||
|
Male Pentagram Symbol
The male with pentagram is a symbol for men, both gay and straight, who are involved in the magickal arts. The phallic arrow extending from the pentagram defines the gender - warlike but with foresight or fore something :) |
