The Family Symbol
Mark developed this symbol in tribute to Henry Moore, one of his favorite sculptors. The symbol is semi representational, showing a mother, father, and a hollow area where their arms are holding each other that could be a child, the wish for a child, the child to be or our inner child. This symbol looks great in 14 kt gold - email us for prices. |

Feather/Quill
A symbol for writers, the quill, or feather, represents truth. In Egyptian mythology the soul of the dead is weighed against a feather of Maat - the god of the dead. Should the heart outweigh the feather off to hell you go! Vice versa and it's heavenly release. See Anubis for the god that does the deed. Thus the feather also signifies spiritual purity. May you be "light as a feather" comes from this sign. It is also, of course, a Led Zeppelin symbol. |

Female/Pentagram
This symbol, one of our own designs (Pam dreamed it!), incorporates the female symbol (also known as the symbol for Venus) with the pentagram. This symbol has been very popular in the Wiccan community, but is obviously appropriate for any woman practicing magick. |

Female/Pentagram with Stone
Here is the female pentagram symbol with an amethyst in the center of the pentagram. Popular stones for this symbol are garnet and moonstone or onyx if you'd like the crone aspect.. But you can have almost any stone, depending on what size piece you want. |

Female/Hexagram with Stone
Here is the female with hexagarm and a garnet in the center of the hexagram. Hexagrams are useful for Enochian or Crowleyan magick. Almost any stone can be put in the middle for $10 or $15 or the piece can be had without a stone for $10 or $15 less. |

The Finger
Recently revitalized in the public consciousness by Eminem who declared that it was a positive message, the upraised middle finger is the most effective American gestural curse. Although the exact derivation is lost in the mist of time the gesture clearly signifies one finger up yours (presumably up your ass since it is not a gender specific sign). The piece can be a pendant or an earring (or a ring). In this case the jump ring is soldered to the back of the finger, but it can also be soldered to the tip. |

|
The Finger, 14kt Gold
Gestural curses are common to all human cultures. Curiously, there is large variation, as to this curse, between the American and the British. The British, for example, use two fingers, slightly crooked, and facing towards the recipient. The same two fingers (straight up and reversed) are Churchill's Victory sign. This finger, in 14 kt gold, works very well as a single post earring. Like the silver, it can be made as a pendant or a pin or a ring. Prices above are for pendants. Earrings are more expensive. |

The Finger Earring
This is an alternative method of wearing this symbol, as a post dangle. Most of our symbols can be made as post dangles, in silver or gold. The prices above are for single earrings. Double the price for a pair. The price for just a regular post earring is the same as the price of a pendant |

Flaming Skull
The skull, in Western thought, is always a momento mori, a contemplation on death. It also signifies the importance of the head and the brain, including its oracular function. Today, it is the sign of the deviant, of the outlaw. With the flames representing speed, this version of the skull is most popular with bikers. This design is after tattoo flash by L. Zulueta. |

Fleur De Lys
Although a contemporary symbol for (the-late-but-we-hope-it-will-come-back) New Orleans, the lily's symbolism is ancient. As one wiki writer said: "The use for ornamental or symbolic purposes of the fleur de lis is common to all eras and all civilizations. It is an essentially graphic theme found on Mesopotamian cylinders, Egyptian bas-reliefs, Mycenean potteries, Sassanid textiles, Gaulish coins, Mameluk coins, Indonesian clothes, Japanese emblems and Dogon totems. Most writers agree that it has little to do graphically with the lily, but disagree on whether it derives from the iris, the broom, the lotus or the furze, or whether it represents a trident, an arrowhead, a double axe, or even a dove or a pigeon. The essential point is that it is a very stylised figure, probably a flower, that has been used as an ornament or an emblem by almost all civilizations of the old and new worlds." So there! |

Fleur De Lys, 14kt Gold
Although a contemporary symbol for (the-late-but-we-hope-it-will-come-back) New Orleans, the lily's symbolism dates back to Ancient Egypt. The Greeks believed Aphrodite added the lily's pistil to make it more phallic. It is the flower of the Archangel Gabriel and is important in heraldry because it resembles a scepter. The lily represents purity and, in some contexts, death. Though this is probably modeled on an iris! |

Goddess with Stone
This is a very early predynastic Egyptian goddess figure from a matriarchal society with her arms raised in invocation, power & triumph - perhaps over the cyclic processes of the nature she observed. Stones we recommend include moonstone, amethyst, garnet, onyx and hematite. The stone shown here is a moonstone. |

Gothic Cross
This cross is laminated (two sheets of silver, one cut out and flush soldered to the other), textured, and oxidized. The scalloped ends, in Christianity, refer to the Trinity, but the cross is much older than Christianity and the scallops originally referred to the triune nature of the goddess while the cross itself was a symbol for both the Earth and femininity. This, like almost all of our pieces, can be made larger - Email for details. |

Gothic Cross Dog Tag
Many of our symbols can be made into dog tags. We'd show more but, due to their exceptionally high shine, they're very difficult to photograph without getting reflections from the camera - not to mention that their addition would almost DOUBLE this already very large website! The way the dog tag bulges as it moves towards the bottom is also an artifact of the camera. We also make the sterling silver bead chain that goes perfectly with the dog tag, see here for $.85 an inch, 2 mm sterling bead chain with soldered links and a lobster clasp. |
