The Aum is considered a "seed" sound, the sound that accompanied the birth of the universe. The Mandukya Upanishad is entirely devoted to the explanation of the syllable. The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali states in verse (1:27):
"tasya vacakah pranavah" which translates as, "God's voice is Aum."

The lotus is a popular symbol for the law of cause and effect , karma, and the transformative nature of the spiritual journey. In this representation a central aum is soldered onto the center of the top layer of petals which is then textured and soldered onto another layer of petals. There are a number of variations available of this symbol; search under Lotus. This is a three dimensional piece and quite deep. Like the lotus below this can also be made with a 14kt gold aum and for the same price as the one below.

The Tibetan aum, and the Tibetan language in general, is based on Sanskrit, the sacred language of Hinduism. The Tibetan Aum thus has similarities in letter structure to the Sanskrit aum and has the same meaning. Here the aum is crafted from 14 kt gold.

The Auryn is a variation of the Worm Ouroborous - a snake eating its own tail, which represents the cyclical nature of the universe and is also a Gnostic symbol for earthly ensnarement. Here, we have two snakes eating each other's tail - which adds a yin yang element to the cycle. This design was made famous by the fantasy movie "The Never Ending Story" where it protected and guided the bearer and was also a seal showing the bearer to be an emissary of the Empress of Fantasia. This design is sterling silver with one of the snakes oxidized. Every little scale is hand carved - so it's definitely a labor intensive piece!

This is the same Auryn as above except one of the snakes is 14kt gold, the other sterling silver. Unlike the Auryn in all sterling silver, this one is put together like a jig saw puzzle - with pieces of gold and pieces of silver soldered together in a "married metal" technique - did I I say that the sterling silver Auryn was labor intensive? THIS is labor intensive!

Found throughout human history, the Horned God has always represented the unknown, and usually, sexual energy. In the form of Baphomet this deity represents the life force of planet Earth. Caricatured as "the devil" by Christians, this hunter's God may have been the earliest divinity worshipped by human beings.

You can have godnames stamped and oxidized around the rim of the Extra Large Baphomet. In the image shown the names are Baphomet, Babalon, Luxferro, Azazel and Inana. More commonly the names are Baphomet, Lucifer, Set, Pan, Ahriman, and Leviathan. If the words fit you can even have an invocation to the Horned God stamped around the rim.

One of the most popular images of the god Baphomet is of the Horned One's head in the middle of a double circle pentagram with the Hebrew letters for Leviathan between the two circles. Most recently, though strangely, commemorated in the second "Hellraiser" movie, Leviathan is a dark angel, ruler of Hell, or the dark or hidden places of the human psyche. The Temple of Set and the Church of Satan use variations of this design.

In this design The Horned One is within a rim representing the World Snake, the Worm Ouroborous. This is a spectacular design with deeply stamped lines representing the snake's scales. The Snake also represents the cyclical nature of natural phenomena - birth-death-rebirth; time and the multiverse.

This very large Baphomet is a one of a kind pendant, forged and created with a series of layers of sterling silver. It is a very complex, 3 dimensional, sculptural piece. The center is a flaming tree, an element popularized by both Eliphaz Levi and Geiger. This piece was about 2 1/3 inches in diameter and consisted of 5 layers.
There was only ONE of this design. This was sold at $500. Mark would be happy to make another custom Baphomet of this kind of complexity but it would not be the same as this.

Mark found an image of Anton Lavey wearing a pendant similar to this one. Baphomet is the symbol for the life force and this is really more of an inverted pentagram with the siegel rune, which is also a symbol for the life force, flush soldered to it. The siegel rune is one of the Eldar Futhark runes and any of this rune system can be placed on a pentagram. The siegel is a stylized lightning bolt and, doubled, is the insignia of the SS. There's a link between the occultism of Nazi Germany and both the Church of Satan and the Temple of Set. How seriously this link is taken is difficult to know.
