Unlike her sister above, which is clearly on the side of the light in magick (even with a dark stone), the Inverted Pentagram, as always, refers to sexual magick, and with the Triple Goddess, to the dark side of the Goddess as Kali the Destroyer. You can't have creation without destruction - but you knew that! Usually the central stone is black, a hematite or black onyx, symbolizing the dark side of the moon but a deep red garnet looks fabulous too. The pentagram in this piece can also be textured (and oxidized) if you like. But, like the above piece, it doesn't look good smaller. |
