| This is an alternative to the traditional Star of Ishtar . Composed of two intertwined squares, this is a symbol of regeneration. Unlike the long pointed 8 pointed star, this is not a "gateless" design but two interlaced squares. Thus it is also a symbol for the natural universe as the interweaving of order and disorder (90 degree & 45 degree angles), yin and yang, to create an ultimately harmonious design. | ||||||||||||
