Tarot Jewelry, Gnosticism, the Cabala and jewelry of Wicca are featured on this page.
Found throughout human history, the Horned God has always represented the unknown and, usually, sexual energy. In the form of Baphomet this deity represents the life force of planet earth. Caricatured as "the devil" by Christians, this hunter's god may have been the earliest divinity worshipped by human beings. Baphomet is venerated by all types of Western magickal traditions: Ceremonial, Chaos, Thelemic, Left Hand Path and Wicca.

Diamonds are expensive even at these small sizes so email us if you'd like a quote on different stones - say rubies or emeralds! It is also $75 less with a standard bail.

More Baphomet Jewelry
You can have godnames stamped and oxidized around the rim of the Extra Large Baphomet. In the image shown the names are Baphomet, Babalon, Luxferro, Azazel and Inana. More commonly the names are Baphomet, Lucifer, Set, Pan, Ahriman, and Leviathan. If the words fit, you can have an invocation to the Horned God stamped around the rim. On the right is a customized Baphomet. It has the letters NOX cut out and soldered to the top. You can customize Baphomet any way you like. Mark's personal Baphomet, for example, has a Tibetan skull at the top - which would cost a little more than this. Email us if you want a customized Baphomet or letters other than NOX.
Both of these Baphomets are variants on the style made famous by Anton LaVey and the Church of Satan, on which the Baphometic head is surrounded by the Hebrew letters for Leviathan. See a Leviathan ring HERE. These are the Church of Satan's version (well, our version of their version) of Baphomet. The customer who first requested this piece got permission from the COS for us to make it. They are the same except that the letters are cut out on the right and soldered on top on the left. We can't cut them out any smaller than a large.
Medium: $140 Code:426+(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)

More COS Baphomets; the version on the left is a stylized one using our Baphomet and the spectacular version on the right is a COS Baphomet in 14kt Gold with ruby eyes and a fancy bail! Baphomet was quite happy about this version, I must say. The medium size of this version would have the letters soldered on top. He can be had without the fancy bail ($75 less) and with something other than AAA faceted ruby eyes if you just don't care enough to do the very best :) Email us!
Medium: $140 Code:1117(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)

Baphomet with Ouroborous Jewelry
In these designs The Horned One is within a rim composed of the world snake, the worm ouroboros. This is a spectacular design with deep engraved lines representing the snake's scales. The snake represents the cyclical nature of natural phenomena: birth-death-rebirth; time and the multiverse. On the right, Baphomet is surrounded by the Hebrew letters for Leviathan and then surrounded by the ouroboros.
Medium: $140 Code:973(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $175 Code:963(36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Extra Large: $225 Code:964(45X45mm or 1.8" diameter)

This very large Baphomet was a one of a kind pendant, forged and created with a series of layers of sterling silver. It is a complex, three dimensional, sculptural piece. The center is a flaming tree, an element popularized by both Eliphaz Levi and Geiger. This piece was about 2 1/3 inches in diameter and consisted of 5 layers. There was only ONE of this design and it was sold for $500. Mark would be happy to make another custom Baphomet of this kind of complexity but it would not be the same as this.
Another custom Baphomet, this one after Eliphas Levi's design per request of the customer. He has AAA faceted sapphires in his eyes. This is an example of the custom Baphomets we can do - love to do actually! We can make one for you, but it will not be exactly like this. Email us why don't you?
A fabulous dog tag for a fabulous pup. You should be so lucky! Here is the beautiful and proud owner.
Here are two versions of our Baphomet as signet rings. These are large rings, the table where Baphomet is placed cannot be any smaller than 1 inch (25.4 mm) in diameter. Like all our rings, these signets are fabricated, not cast, so they very strong. Email us for more information.
This ring cost $650. We recently made one with the Baphomet and the circle in 18kt Gold and the ring in argentium. The cost of that ring was $900.
"Love is the Law, Love under Will." These are some of the symbols of Aleister Crowley whose Order of Thelema continues his Great Work. 93! 93!
This symbol was Aleister Crowley's personal symbol and is popular with Thelemites. The Star of Babalon invokes the aid of the angelic guardian spirits of the 7 planets. In this context it also means the Law of Thelema: 93.
Do What Thou Wilt!
Babalon—also known as The Scarlet Woman, The Great Mother or the Mother of Abominations — is a goddess found in Thelema. In her most abstract form, she represents the female sexual impulse and the liberated woman; although she can also be identified with Mother Earth in her most fertile sense. At the same time, Crowley believed that Babalon had an earthly aspect in the form of a spiritual office, which could be filled by actual women — usually as a counterpart to his own identification as 'To Mega Therion' (The Great Beast) — whose duty was then to help manifest the energies of the current Aeon of Horus.
Small: $40 Code:077(20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $50 Code:556(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $70 Code:555(36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Extra Large: $90 Code:559(45X45mm or1.8" diameter)

"This is the Mystery of Babalon, the Mother of Abominations, and this is the mystery of her adulteries, for she hath yielded up herself to everything that liveth, and hath become a partaker in its mystery. And because she hath made her self the servant of each, therefore is she become the mistress of all. Not as yet canst thou comprehend her glory." - 12th Aethyr
"This is Babalon, the true mistress of The Beast; of Her, all his mistresses on lower planes are but avatars" Although Crowley often wrote that Babalon and the Scarlet Woman are one, there are many instances where the Scarlet Woman is seen more as a representative of the universal feminine principle. In a footnote to Liber Reguli, Crowley mentions that of the “Gods of the Aeon,” the Scarlet Woman and the Beast are their earthly emissaries. Though many women could be the "office holder" of the Scarlet Woman, there could be only one Beast - Crowley himself.
Small: $40 Code:981(20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $50 Code:927(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $70 Code:982(36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Extra Large: $90 Code:989(45X45mm or1.8" diameter)

If the number of the Beast is 666 then the number of Babalon is 777. Her consort is Chaos, the "Father of Life" and the male form of the Creative Principle. Babalon is often described as being girt with a sword and riding the Beast. She is often referred to as a Sacred Whore, and her primary symbol is the Chalice or Graal. As Crowley wrote, “She rides astride the Beast; in her left hand she holds the reins, representing the passion which unites them. In her right she holds aloft the cup, the Holy Grail aflame with love and death. In this cup are mingled the elements of the sacrament of the Aeon” (Crowley 1981, p. 94).
This is a fabulous, layered, argentium sterling silver version of 777.
This ring features the personal sigil of Aleister Crowley. The letters BABALON are inset in the triangles fromed by the seven pointed star. This complicated signet ring costs $400 and up to fabricate.
The unicursal hexagram is so-called because it can be drawn unicursally - that is, in one continuous movement. This is significant when forming figures in ritual magick, where a continuous line is preferred to an interrupted movement. The symbol was devised by the Golden Dawn, and later adapted by Aleister Crowley as a device of personal significance.
Small: $40 Code:079(20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $50 Code:078(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)

Unicursal Hexagram Pendant with Stone
Crowley's adaptation of the unicursal hexagram placed a five petalled rose, symbolizing a pentacle (and the divine feminine), in the center; the symbol as a whole making eleven (five petals of the rose plus six points of the hexagram), the number of divine union. Putting a ruby as a symbol of the rose in the center of the unicursal is most Crowleyan. We can even make one with a five petaled rose in the center AND a ruby on top of that if you like - see below! Prices, by the way, are for synthetic rubies or genuine garnets. Genuine rubies are a bit more expensive. Email us re those prices.

Unicursal Hexagrams with Rose and Stone
Crowley's personal unicursal symbol features a rose at the center. The gorgeous piece on the right is a silver unicursal hexagram with a 14kt rose gold rose and a faceted, tube set rhodolite garnet. Majestic, it is! We can set a ruby (genuine or lab grown) also. On the left is a version without the rose in silver, which is a little less expensive. Email us re stone prices or if you'd like to have the unicursal hexagram with just a rose and no stone.

Unicursal Hexagram in Circle Pendant
A totally interesting - who knows if it's true - interpretation of Anton LaVey's lightening bolt; Marilyn Manson's shock symbol; Ziggy Stardust's 'Z'; AC/DC, KISS and Black Sabbath's 'Zs' says that they are all 1/2 of a unicursal hexagram! Who knew? Maybe even the Nazi's too! Go here for that: 'z' as 1/2 unicursal hexagram
Small: $40 Code:399(20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $50 Code:401(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)

Here's a wide-band style ring, with a unicursal hexagram and a lab grown faceted ruby tube set in the center. Rings like this run $275 and up. This ring has the advantage of having very sharp points - if you want.
This 14kt yellow gold split band ring featuring a unicursal hexagram with a 14kt rose gold rose uses solder lamination techniques to back the hexagram with an argentium silver disk. Rings similar to this cost $500 and up, depending on ring size.
For the well dressed Thelemite here's the unicursal hexagram as a pair of backed and oxidized cuff links. We can make pretty much any symbol you see on this page into cuff links. These cuff links are torpedo style, but we can also make them with a bar and chain. To see that or many more styles, look here.
This is a two sided custom piece ordered by a member of the Haitian Voudoo-Thelemite syncretic order La Couleuvre Noire. Thelemites and vouduns will know of this order through the work of Michael Bertiaux. More information on the history of this order is available here. Two sided pieces like this are extremely complicated to fabricate. This one was nearly two inches in width. Two sided pieces of similar size and complexity would cost $350 and up. Email Us with the design of your order's magickal seals. We'll be happy to turn them into something as gorgeous as this!
The hexagram is a mandala symbol called satkona yantra found on ancient South Indian Hindu temples built thousands of years ago. It symbolizes the nara-narayana, or perfect meditative state of balance achieved between Man and God.
As the Star of David, the hexagram is a generally recognized symbol of Jewish identity and Judaism. It is named after King David of ancient Israel; and its earliest known communal usage began in the Middle Ages.
In Ceremonial Magickal terms: Just as the Pentagram is an image of Man/God/Existence perfectly in balance Elementally, the Hexagram is a balanced symbol of the Planetary powers. It is important to understand that the planetary powers have nothing to do with the physical planets they are named after. They symbolize certain non-physical forces that affect our existence, much as the tide of the seas is guided by the moon. The Hexagram is also a symbol of balance between the Magnetic and Electric powers (also known as the Yin and Yang of the Tao, also corresponding to the Pillars of Mercy and Severity in Hermetic Magick). The upper triangle is colored Red, the Lower triangle Blue. With the Red symbolizing the Electric, Fire, the Male, etc. and the Blue symbolizing the Magnetic power, Water, the Female. Each point of the star is bejeweled with a planetary symbol, with Saturn being at the very top, followed in clockwise by Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Luna, Mars, and Sol in the Center of the star. It is important during energy work, imho, to build the Hexagram into one's aura, as it represents balance in all of the celestial forces that affect our beings. It is even more important than the Pentagram to build into the aura, as the Elements are emanations of the Magnetic and Electric powers, and are under their "Presidency" for lack of a better term.
The above is from a fascinating discussion about the hexagram, including The Lesser Banishing Ritual of The Hexagram.
Small: $40 Code:505(20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $50 Code:506(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $70 Code:507(36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Extra Large: $90 Code:503(45X45mm or 1.8" diameter)

The hexagram is also used by the Christians as the Star of Creation. To Mormons it symbolizes the Tribes of Israel and the friendship and affinity Mormons feel towards the Jewish people. Rastafai and the Zion Christian Church, a 3 million Black Christian church in South Africa use this symbol. To Muslims, David and King Solomon are mentioned in the Koran as prophets and kings. Rael of the Raelians says the hexagram was brought to this planet by extrasolar genetic engineers! To Wiccans, it is '"as above, so below". One professor theorizes that the "Star of David" originated in the writings of Aristotle, who used superposed triangles in different positions to indicate the combinations of different basic elements.
So the hexagram is not only everywhere and forever but, as a simple geometric shape, like the triangle, circle, or square, the hexagram has been created by various, different peoples with no connection to one another over time.
Hexagram with Tetragrammaton Jewelry
In this variant the hexagram is backed with a textured sheet of sterling silver and the tetragrammaton, Yod-Heh-Vahv-Heh, the secret name of God, is included in Hebrew. An amethyst is set in the center. The symbol can be made without the hebrew letters and without the stone - email us for prices and to buy.
Medium: $90 Code:304s(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $120 Code:305s(36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)

Here is the above symbol set on a band style ring. This particular ring costs $300, but the price varies depending on the size and stone. See our rings section for more styles (picture your design on the style you like).
Quaternary means four elements in one and this quaternary is the tetragrammaton (Yod-Heh-Vahv-Heh = the secret/sacred name of God, the Word, the Logos, Christ) that is incarnated within the pentagram (the Kosmic Human is represented by the five points of the Hieroglyphic Esoteric Pentagram: one head, two arms and two legs). In Exodus 3:14-15 the name is associated with the idea of "being," and hence some have understood the original meaning to be "He who brings being into being."
The tetragrammaton on the right contains a large central moonstone and five elemental stones at the points of the pentagrams. This is a laminated piece, backed with sterling silver textured sheet. This symbol is generally considered to be the most powerful in Ceremonial Magick, containing the protective qualities of the pentagram, two circles signifying the microcosm and the macrocosm, and the name of the Creative Force. This is a heavy, impressive and powerful piece!
We can put stones on the tetragrammaton on the left too - email us about that.
Medium: $130 Code:300(27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $175 Code:243(36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Extra Large: $230 Code:242(45X45mm 1.8" diameter)

You can have an elegant and classic ring similar to this one. Prices start at $750.
Goetic and Other Magickal Seals
We can make pretty much any Goetic, Solomonic, Angelic or Demonic seal that you would care to commission. Mark is developing his engraving skills so he can fabricate the Enochian Watchtowers for any of you practitioners of John Dee's magickal system. Seals like these are used in demonic (or angelic) evocation.
Andras Seal Pendant
This, the Seal of the Grand Marquis of Hell, Andras, is from the Goetia and is an incised argentium sterling silver medal 36mm in diameter (1.4"). A Seal of this or greater complexity costs $150 or more. Email us with your interest.
Astaroth is referred to in The Lesser Key of Solomon as a very powerful demon. In the Dictionnaire Infernal, Astaroth is depicted as a nude man with feathered wings, wearing a crown, holding a serpent in one hand, and riding a beast with dragon-like wings and a serpent-like tail. According to Sebastien Michaelis he is a demon of the First Hierarchy, who seduces by means of laziness, vanity, and rationalized philosophies. To others, he teaches mathematical sciences and handicrafts, can make men invisible and lead them to hidden treasures, and answers every question formulated to him. He was also said to give to mortal beings the power over serpents. Quite a guy, huh? Rings with demon seals start at $400.
John Dee, Elizabeth I's astrologer and court magician, designed this ring. Mark executed it as a size 10 heavy 14kt gold ring. The table of the ring, pictured here, is 1 inch square. This is a ceremonial ring, specially made for a customer involved in Dee's magick. On the right you can see the heavy gold band and the way in which Dee believed the ring should be fabricated. Elizabethan jewelry had not developed the signet style ring, which would be the way that a modern ring would fulfill Dee's design requirements. A ring similar to this would cost $2000 and up today. We can make the plate smaller or make it in sterling silver and 14kt gold, which is considerably less expensive.
Golden Dawn and Masonic Jewelry
The Golden Dawn, one of the most important Hermetic Orders of the Magickal Revival and the end of the 19th Century, patterned itself after the Masons, a magickal order which, to this day, remains the largest and most successful magickal fellowship in the history of Western occultism.

Tarot Card Jewelry
According to a Tarot historian, Tarot cards did not come from playing cards nor playing cards from them. There are also those who believe that Tarot cards originated in Egypt. In some circles, they are thought to be the sole surviving "book" from the great fire that burned the libraries of ancient Egypt. In this theory, the cards are considered to be the hieroglyphical keys to life. There is, however, no evidence of this. They did appear in Italy around 1440 and were used to play games. It wasn't until the 18th century, in France and England, that followers of the occult discovered Tarot cards. They saw the symbolic pictures of the cards as having more meaning than the simple trump cards they were used for at the time. They used the cards as a divination tool, and occult writers wrote about "the Tarot." After this, the Tarot became a part of occult philosophy.
The pieces below depict the Hanged Man, the 12th trump card. It refers to the hanged god as a metaphor for death, renewal and self sacrifice. Aleister Crowley found this repugnant as it alludes to Christianity: "Pity not the fallen! I never knew them. I am not for them. I console not: I hate the consoled and the consoler." The Book of the Law.
We can make the trumps as cards or pendants and they can be all silver or all gold too.

Isn't this great?! The Hanged Man (Atu XII) and the Magus (Atu I) as cuff links! We can do some trumps this small, obviously, but many are too complicated. Just let us know what you want.
Gnostic Jewelry
Gnosticism probably predated Christianity and was nearly eradicated by the Catholic Church in the 13 Century but it survives to this day and was very influential in the development of esoteric and mystical movements in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries. We feature two of the most popular symbols of Gnosticism, but would be happy to make more. Mark is waiting for someone to commission Abraxas which he promises to fabricate without a design fee. Email us!
The serpent or dragon eating its own tail can be traced back to ancient Egypt, circa 1600 BCE, though the pig dragons ( a type of ouroboros) of the Hongshan culture (47002200 BCE) of China are even older. From ancient Egypt the design passed to Phoenicia and then to the Greek philosophers, who gave it the name Ouroboros ("self-devourer"). It is also a well-known Gnostic symbol. The cosmic egg, which is protected by the worm (dragon/snake) is represented by whatever stone you love, here we used a hematite on the left hand worm, a turquoise on the right.
We can get quite a few stones to fit both of the smalls and the medium alternate worm but our choices really narrow for the medium regular worm and the large of both kinds. You might want to Email us first.

Large: $115 Code:839a (36mmX36mm 1.4" diameter)The Ouroboros is a greek word, and means "tail swallower." The ouroboros is usually depicted in the form of a snake swallowing its tail, and is usually circular, although it is sometimes depicted in a lemniscate shape - the infinity symbol - where it symbolizes the balancing of the upper and the lower (as above so below). The religious or spiritual aspect of the leminscate worm predates its mathematical origins. It has been found in Tibetan rock carvings. In the tarot, the lemniscate represents the balance of forces and is often associated with the magician card.
There is a large selection of oval stones available. This is a magnificent piece of lapis, but we can get whatever you want - email us.
Cut and carved from 14kt yellow gold 16 gauge sheet the worm ouroborous, a gnostic symbol for the cyclical nature of reality, is priced at $400 and up, $450 and up for the one with the 2 mm faceted emerald eye.
The argentium version starts at $150 and goes up. The version on the right has an exquisite AAA sapphire in a 14kt gold setting for the eye. Not too expensive at these tiny sizes: prices start at $200.
You know you can have almost any stones you want, right? Email Us about that.
This customer wanted a large ring with a large stone bu the didn't want the bulk of a signet ring, so Mark crafted a heavy duty band ring for him. Prices start at $275 and go up depending on size and stone.
Chnoubis is an aspect of the Gnostic Demiurge, Yaldabaoth, and is associated with Abraxas. We made a pair of these for a couple of esoteric practitioners and we made them twice. Why did we make them twice? Because we put the Hebrew letters that are between the rays on backwards and the rings were so many layers by this time (hand-made not cast) that they just flew apart when Mark tried to re-solder the letters. Incredibly complex rings like this start at $400.
See the Making Of (Version 2) slide show here and if that link doesn't work please email us.
Abraxas is the name given by the early Gnostic Christians to the embodied form of God. In Gnosticism, God is called the 'Pleroma', which means fullness. Pleroma would correspond with Brahman in Hinduism, Ein Sof in Jewish Kabbalah and the Tao of Taoism etc. This is God as the unknowable; the God beyond concept and imagining. This is theGod that is the source of all being and the ground of all existence.
The Cathar Cross, the symbol of Catharism (the form of Gnosticism mercilessly persecuted by the Medieval Catholic Church) features a leminiscule, or figure 8 on its side, symbolizing infinity as a snake eating its own tail. This sideways figure 8 is also known as the Worm Ouroborous and references Leviathan. Surging out from that is a double cross symbolizing the earth and the heavens. This cross is also a variant on the World Tree. The symbol is exactly the same as the Brimstone symbol in Alchemy and was adopted by Anton LaVey and the Church of Satan.

or Kabbala(h), Cabala, or, if you're in a hurry, QBL
The Western Esoteric (or Hermetic) Tradition, a precursor to both the neo-Pagan and New Age movements, differs from the Jewish Kabalah in being a more syncretistic system. Hermetic Kabbalah reached its peak in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a 19th-century organization that was the pinnacle of ceremonial magick. Within the Golden Dawn, Kabbalistic principles such as the ten Sephiroth were fused with Greek and Egyptian deities, the Enochian system of angelic magick of John Dee, and certain Eastern (particularly Hindu and Buddhist) concepts within the structure of a Masonic - or Rosicrucian - style esoteric order. Crowley's "Liber 777." is a set of tables relating various parts of ceremonial magick and Eastern and Western religion to thirty-two numbers representing the ten spheres and twenty-two paths of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The syncretism embraced by Hermetic Kabbalists is evident, as one may simply check the table to see that Chesed (for example)"Mercy," corresponds to Jupiter, Isis, the color blue (on the Queen Scale), Poseidon, Brahma, and amethysts.
The Jewish Kabbalah is an interpretation key of the "soul" of the Torah, or the religious-mystical system of Judaism claiming an insight into divine nature. The term "Kabbalah" was originally used in Talmudic texts, among the Geonim, and by early Rishonim as a reference to the full body of publicly available Jewish teaching. Over time it became a reference to doctrines of esoteric knowledge concerning God, God's creation of the universe and the laws of nature, and the path by which adult religious Jews can learn these secrets. Kabbalah, according to the more recent use of the word, stresses the esoteric reasons and understanding of the commandments in the Torah, and the occult cause of events described in the Torah. Kabbalah includes the understanding of the spiritual spheres of creation, and the ways by which God administers the existence of the universe.
Wicca utilizes a number of symbols that we feature on the Pentagram page and the goddess symbols are on the Egyptian page because they started in pre-dynastic Egypt. Here are a few more Wiccan symbols.
The moon symbolizes the cyclic, mysterious, feminine and tidal forces of the goddess. The cross subscript stands for the earth and again for the female. The symbol as a whole represents the power of the goddess in her aspects as Gaia and Luna. The female with pentagram was dreamed by Pam and the moon/female was dreamed by a friend of hers! It can be made smaller or larger then we show. A pair of moon/females make great dangle earrings and would be twice the price of the pendant. - email for info about earrings. Or for an Extra Large! Or to add a moonstone!

This symbol represents the triune nature of the goddess. Here she is the waning, waxing and full moon at the center (which is represented by a moonstone). She is a symbol of female, magickal energy. Other stones can be used of course. The dark side of the goddess can be portrayed with hematite or black onyx, as the creator side can be with garnet or ruby. This is one of our favorite pieces for its power and anonymity - that is you can wear it and not be outed for being a witch, or worse....a feminist! Moonstones are expensive in large sizes and this piece takes large stones. If you wanted an onyx or a garnet or yet another stone the price would be less. Email us for those prices. The triple goddess also appears as the three goddesses of fate. In Greek Mythology they are the Moirae; in Norse mythology they are the Norns. The Weird Sisters of Shakespeare's Macbeth and the Wyrd Sisters of Terry Pratchett's novels are most definitely inspired by these deities. (In Pratchett's work, they are referred to as "the maiden, the mother, and... the other one, as everyone is quite afraid of calling Granny Weatherwax a 'crone'.")

This is a particularly Wiccan version of the triple goddess, putting the protection and unification sigil - the pentagram - in the center where the full moon is.
This symbol is more about the goddess energy of Hecate and her ilk, who are the offspring of the female spirit of primal darkness at the creation. The Three Furies, who have crescents on their heads and represent the tough side (to say the least!) of the goddess are older than all the gods. Like the Wyrd Sisters they are the past, present and future. They are the most ancient, unknowable, and powerful goddess energy there is. Part of The Prayer to Selene:
To You, wherefore they call You Hekate,
Many-named, Mene, cleaving Air just like
Dart-shooter Artemis, Persephone,
Shooter of Deer, night shining, triple-sounding,
Triple-headed, triple-voiced Selene
Triple-pointed, triple-faced, triple-necked,
And Goddess of the Triple Ways, who hold
Untiring Flaming Fire in Triple Baskets,
And You who oft frequent the Triple Way
And rule the Triple Decades,

This refers to the many threes on this planet - the three sides of the goddess; the three fold nature of gods, goddesses, and humans: body, mind, and spirit; love, power, wisdom; and for Christians, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is also John Bonham's (of Led Zeppelin) symbol. For what it meant to him click here.
We made this ring for a fan of John Bonham but is also a symbol of the goddess and her threefold nature, as you know. Hand-made argentium signet rings like this with a simple symbol and no rim start at $300. Email us if you'd like to have one or any other goddess symbol on a ring.
Hekate is associated with a curious wheel shaped design, known as Hekate's Wheel, or the "Strophalos of Hekate". It is a circle which encloses a serpentine maze with three main flanges, that in turn are situated around a central, fiery spiral. The symbolism refers to the serpent's power of rebirth; to the labyrinth of knowledge through which Hekate could lead humankind, and to the flame of life itself: "The life-producing bosom of Hekate, that Living Flame which clothes itself in Matter to manifest Existence" (according to Isaac Preston Cory's 1836 translation of the Chaldean Oracles). The three main arms of the maze correspond with her being a triple goddess, as well as goddess of the three ways, and that she has dominion over the earth, sea, and sky.
