| A symbol for writers, the quill, or feather, represents truth. In Egyptian mythology the soul of the dead is weighed against a feather of Maat - the god of the dead. Should the heart outweigh the feather off to hell you go! Vice versa and it's heavenly release. See Anubis for the god that does the deed. Thus the feather also signifies spiritual purity. May you be "light as a feather" comes from this sign. It is also, of course, a Led Zeppelin symbol. | ||||||||||||
