In Chaos Magick: chaospheres, chaospheres with ouroboros, chaosphere dog tags, chasophere rings; Discordian jewelry: sacred chaos, the hand of Eris, a sacred chao-sphere and a sacred chao with ouroboros and Discordian rings; Satanic and Left Hand Path jewelry: COS Baphomet, LaVey tribute pentagrams, Anton LaVey's pentagrams with lighting bolts, the Satanic cross, inverted crosses, the Necronomicon Gate, and 666, are featured on this page.
The symbol of postmodern magick, the Chaosphere, was first popularized as an emblem of the Lords of Chaos in Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melniboné Mythos. The symbol now refers to the flexible and deconstructionist variation of ceremonial magick developed by the artist/sorcerer A.O.Spare, and modernized by Pete Carroll. "Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted!"
Chaospheres come in many styles although they all have 8 arrows. These are just a few of the many versions that we can make for you, You Formidable Chaote You! The 14kt gold version is quite heavy - like a chaos magician :)

This is our chaosphere with a stone in the center, taking up the space where the domed circle would be. The stone is large, which somewhat limits the selection. The price shown is for hematite. Moonstone and some other stones do cost more - email us and we'll give you a quote.
This seems like an obvious combo, right? We didn't think of it until a pair of customers used it as the logo for their wedding (wedding party gift condoms were imprinted with it). Pentagram can be right side up; other symbols can be put in the middle. Scroll down to Discordia and take a look.
"It could as well be called God or Tao, but the name Chaos is virtually meaningless and free from the childish, anthropomorphic ideas of religion." Liber Null & Psychonaut by Pete Carroll
Another variation of the chaosphere - for those who prefer pointy and sharp to round and soft. Does that say something about your style of chaos magick?.....didn't think so.
The peridot in the spiky chaosphere on the left refers to Terry Pratchett's 'octarine' as the color of magick. Silver obsidian is in the middle of the spiky chaosphere on the right. You can, as usual, get many, many different stones - just email us with your desire. The reason why the spiky on the left is more expensive is because peridot is a very expensive stone! Most stones are in the category of the spiky on the right.
Small: $55 Code:944s (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)

Large: $100 Code:945s (36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Small: $50 Code:944s (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)

Large: $85 Code:945s (36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Our customer saw the magnificent piece below and wanted it in sterling silver, a more manageable size and oxidized - and here it is. Can be had without the oxidation of course and a regular jump ring also makes it $5 less expensive for the small and the medium; $10 less for the large.
What a magnificent - and amazingly heavy - piece this was! It was made out of 'fine' silver which means that, though it is certainly a fine piece, it's pure silver, not sterling. We find that chaotes are incredibly imaginative and we happily produce just all kinds of custom chaotic talismans and rings. We can do it for you too! Email us with your idea!
What a great idea! Another product of our customers' fertile imaginations: a chaosphere surrounded by an ouroboros. For the magick of chaos exists within the continuous cycle of life and death that the serpent who eats its own tail represents.
This piece is made a little differently than most encircled pieces: Mark cuts out the chaosphere and the ouroboros as separate layers and then solders them together. So this pendant has depth and weight! Again, we can put any stone in the design on the right - email us about that.
We can put an ouroboros around any symbol (pretty much) for an additional $20 for a small, $25 for a medium, $30 for a large and $40 for an extra large. Just email us about that.
Small: $60 Code:941 (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $75 Code:946 (27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $100 Code:947 (36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Small: $70 Code:941s (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $90 Code:946s (27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $115 Code:947s (36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Double chaos? More chaotic than chaos? Out of control chaos? Or is all chaos out of control? Hmmmmmmmm. We can do many variations of this, without stone too if you like. The version on the right has a spectacular oval moonstone. More stones are available. Drop us a line.
Small: $50 Code:807s (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $60 Code:808s (27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $85 Code: 809s (36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Small: $55 Code:807ms (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $70 Code:808ms (27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $110 Code: 809ms (36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
The piece on the left was a custom job: sterling silver spiky chaosphere on a 14kt gold textured inverted pentagram with a 'fancy' bail - fancy in that it is more elaborate (and expensive) than a regular jump ring. We liked it so much we posted it on our site and soon we had another version: 14kt gold spiky chaosphere on a sterling silver textured inverted pentagram with the rim in 14kt gold and the fancy bail in silver and a lab grown ruby in the middle.
The prices include the fancy bail - email us if you want a regular bail, which is $75 less expensive for the medium and the large and $50 less for the small in the gold. We will make either of these for you, though they will not look exactly the same because each piece is custom made.
Small: $325 Code:924 (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $515 Code:925 (27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $785 Code:926 (36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Small: $305 Code:924aus (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $450 Code:925aus (27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $715 Code:926aus (36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
Here is the above piece in all argentium sterling silver. We can add a stone to the middle too. Drop us a line.
The chaosphere as an ancient Buddhist weapon, similar to a shuriken, combined with a Tibetan double dorje and a green tourmaline. Other stones are available, of course. This piece is a two part laminate with the double dorje on top of the chaosphere and the stone on top of that! Email us re your stone choice.
The chaosphere dog tag can be personalized for no additional charge with a word or a name stamped in (or cut out) below the chaosphere. Something like "Chaos" or "Fnord", maybe. Or if you're a member of the z(cluster), perhaps that, as shown. If you just want the chaosphere, the price remains the same. Email us for more info or if you'd like a different size.
Like the chaosphere with pentagram above, this one has the Kan in the middle. Find out more about Kan here.
Many, many many chaos rings! And if you don't see yours - we will make it for you!
This chaosphere ring costs $225 and up in sterling silver. Most stones can be added for $15 each. The chaosphere in this ring is the size of a small, 20 mm in diameter or a little over 3/4 of an inch. It can be larger or smaller.
Here is a pair of chaosphere band rings which our customers used for wedding rings. This pair would cost $500 and up.
Even a simple band style ring can become quite complex. Here the chaosphere (20 mm diameter) has a 14kt gold hexagram flush soldered to the domed center of the symbol. A ring similar to this would cost $325 but it does depend on the complexity of the central symbol.
Split band rings are actually cut from a single sheet of argentium sterling silver or karat gold. In this case the disc behind the spiky chaosphere is texture-finished, the chaosphere (a separate piece) is flush soldered to the disc and both the band and the chaosphere are polished to a high shine. This ring cost $275 and up in sterling silver.
This sterling silver signet style ring is exceptionally strong. It has a black onyx and heavy texturing. We particularly like this type of texturing on chaosphere signet rings. We fabricate signet rings from heavy sheet, which allows the back of the table of the ring to be hollow (a good place to store sigils and the like). This style ring costs $325 and up depending on size and stone.
In this example of the chaosphere ring the chaosphere is inset into the table of the ring, the area around is oxidized and there is a rim. The central stone is a black onyx and there are sigils, provided by the customer, on either side of the ring. This customer also requested the chaosphere be rotated by 22.5 degrees to give more of a dynamic effect. Rings similar to this would cost $400 and up.
This custom ring features a 4mm faceted emerald set in the center of the chaosphere. The sides of the ring feature crescent moons and curving around the back is an interweaving knotwork pattern. A ring similar to this with a natural emerald of this quality would cost $600
This spectacular ring features an 18kt gold chaosphere set with a large cabachon lapis lazuli. Rings similar to this in 18kt gold and argentium sterling silver would cost $700 and up.
As Malaclypse the Younger so well put it: "The Sacred Chao is not the Yin-Yang of the Taoists. It is the HODGE-PODGE of the Erisians. And, instead of a Podge spot on the Hodge side, it has a PENTAGON which symbolizes the ANERISTIC PRINCIPLE, and instead of a Hodge spot on the Podge side, it depicts the GOLDEN APPLE OF DISCORDIA to symbolize the ERISTIC PRINCIPLE. The Sacred Chao symbolizes absolutely everything anyone need ever know about absolutely anything, and more! It even symbolizes everything not worth knowing, depicted by the empty space surrounding the Hodge-Podge."
Note: gold prices have gone insane lately as you may know. The prices below are for 14kt gold apples but we can do 10kt too - email us about that.
Small: $55 Code:375 (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $70 Code:951 (27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)

Small: $90 Code:375auap (20X20mm or 0.8" diameter)
Medium: $115 Code:951auap (27X27mm or 1.1" diameter)
Large: $170 Code:952auap (36X36mm or 1.4" diameter)
"The Original Snub" is the Discordian name for the Judgment of Paris, although more focus is put on the actions of Eris. Zeus believed Eris was a troublemaker. This ultimately led to him not inviting her to Peleus and Thetis' wedding. This slight is known as “The Doctrine of the Original Snub” to Discordians. The story also relates that the first thing Eris did after throwing the Apple of Discord into the wedding was partake of a hot dog. This is meant to explain the Discordian prohibition against consuming hot dog buns. The Apple of Discord which is prominently featured in the story is a notable symbol in Discordianism and is included in the Holy Chao. The apple is traditionally described as being made of gold, but among Discordians there is debate over whether the “gold” described was metallic or Acapulco.
Here we have the Sacred Chao with Pentagon and Apple in 14kt Gold and, for you wealthy, elegant Discordians, the Sacred Chao on the right is made of argentium with a thin layer of 14kt gold on top of one half. By the way, we would usually put a regular bail, not a floppy one on this piece. Note: there are no prices for the large half gold, half silver sacred chao! Email us about that!
Note: gold prices have gone insane lately as you may know. The prices below are for 14kt gold elements but we can do 10kt too - email us about that.

The 'Sacred Chao-sphere' (chaosphere/sacred chao combo) is another bright and obvious idea from a customer. This one has a 14kt gold apple. By the way, Chao is pronounced "Cow" not "Kayo" except for the 'scared chao-sphere' and then it's your choice! The above designs though are Sacred 'Cow' or Holy Cow or Hodge-Podge. This 'sacred chao-sphere' can be had with a silver apple - $70 and $95. Email us if you want that.
And here is the 'sacred chao-sphere' and the sacred chao with an ouroboros around it. The sacred chao with ouroboros has the snake integrated with it rather than being a separate piece. Thus it is the same price as the sacred chao with 14kt gold apple and can also be had with a silver apple.
We can put an ouroboros around any symbol (pretty much) for an additional $20 for a small, $25 for a medium, $30 for a large and $40 for an extra large. Just email us about that.

Some time ago a customer (we get ALL our good ideas from customers!) came up with the split yin yang as a committment symbol. Obviously, a Discordian commitment symbol would be a split sacred chao.......and we made it so. Email us if you'd prefer the pentagon and/or the apple in silver. Or 10kt gold instead of 14kt.
Malacylpse the Younger suggested this symbol in the Principia Discordia as a symbol for Chaos. In effect it is two arrows smashing into each other and addresses the issue of conflicting or opposing forces—sometimes in a state of balance or equilibrium, and other times not. But he wasn't so deadly earnest about it as all that.
NOTE: In the lore of western magic, the sideways crescent is taken to symbolize horns, especially the horns of Satan or other diabolical beasties. The Five Fingered Hand of Eris, however, is not intended to be taken as Satanic, for the "horns" are supported by another set, of inverted "horns". Or maybe it is walrus tusks. I don't know what it is, to tell the truth - Principia Discordia
From committment to marriage! Actually, acknowledging the role of discord from jump street is a great way to start a marriage for everybody, not just Discordians!
The hand of Eris and the apple were joined by a brimstone symbol (get Satan involved and why not?!). You could customize your versions any way you like. These cost $350 and up for each ring.
Here is the sacred Apple of Discord (Kallisti) and the Pentagon (for the Law of Fives) in 14kt gold on an argentium signet ring. If that description is gobbledeegook to you, hie thee to the wicki entry for Discordianism from which you can get the founding document by Malaclypse the Younger, "The Principia Discordia" and all will be revealed. We highly recommend you convert to the tender graces of this True religion of the Age and then buy this ring for $400 and up. May all your chaos ('cows') be sacred and Hail Eris!
The primary symbols of Satanism, the Left Hand Path, and Black Magick (by which we mean magick that is hidden not magick that is harmful) are Baphomet and the Inverted Pentagram. Here are some symbols that are particular to the Church of Satan branch of Satanic magick. More COS Baphomets HERE. More Baphomets HERE. More Inverted Pentagrams HERE. Leviathan ring HERE
This pendant is the Church of Satan's version (well, our version of their version) of Baphomet. The customer who requested this piece got permission from the COS for us to make it. We can't make this version in a medium because we can't cut the letters out, so see here for another version that we can make in a medium.

This is our version of Anton LaVey's pendant. Contray to popular thought, LaVey did not put a Sig rune on his inverted pentagram. Anton LaVey was himself Jewish in family heritage and by no means a political supporter of Nazism. He was however attracted to the bombast and power of their imagery, iconography and style. But for this he used a lightening bolt.
LaVey took the lightening bolt from an old RKO Pictures logo. On his own version it was done as gold on a platinum pentagram. Within the iconography of the Church of Satan's 1970s Degree system it indicated the "lightening flash" of inspiration that LaVey claimed had set him towards creating the Church and which one would expect among Fifth Degree/Magus members of the Church. LaVey, however, was the only Magus within the Church in his lifetime and as such it became his personal symbol.
Great thanx to Mark Luskin for this information!

This version of the inverted pentagram with lightening bolt is closest to the one LaVey himself wore. His was platinum and 18kt yellow gold whereas ours is argentium and 14kt yellow gold. We did just make one in 14kt palladium white gold and 18kt yellow gold - spectacular! Email us for that price if you're interested - we don't work in platinum though.
More variations of the above piece, this time with a circle around the pentagram. The all argentium sterling silver version is on the left and Tte all 14kt gold version with a 'fancy' bail is on the right.

This interesting tribute to Anton LaVey was described to us as the symbol worn by him - and this was before we had seen the above piece so, what did we know? Our friend was half-remembering what LaVey actually wore and I sort of see the similarity to the inverted pentagram/lightening bolt if you were to combine the lightening bolt and the downward point of the pentagram! The pentagram is either right side up or up side down, depending on how you look at it. It accentuates the earth/sexual force, since that point is longer, in both interpretations - an interesting feat, but no surprise when attached to the capable Mr. LaVey - even as a tribute. See a ring version of this pentagram HERE - lethal but nice!

Any of the symbols we make can be oxidized. The way we do that is by texturing the piece all over front and back and then soaking it in an oxidizing solution and then burnishing it so it has a beautiful sheen and the oxidation won't rub off. This is the LaVey tribute pentagram oxidized.
Anton LaVey popularized this symbol by using it in the Satanic Bible. This is the symbol for brimstone or sulphur from alchemy. In another context it is also known as the Cathar Cross. The bottom of the cross is a leminiscule, or figure 8 on its side, symbolizing infinity as a snake eating its own tail. This sideways figure 8 is also known as the Worm Ouroboros and references Leviathan. Surging out from that is a double cross symbolizing the earth and the heavens. This cross is also a variant on the World Tree.

Inverted Crosses refer to magickal power derived from the earth, rather than the heavens; from the sexual, generative power of the life force rather than a hypothesized and remote divinity. In these crosses, the flow of energy issues out from the earth, protecting and empowering life and magick. Although a number of Christian martyrs were crucified upside down (so as not to detract from Christ himself) the inverted cross really refers to the supremacy of sexual over sacrificial energy.

Popularized by Thee Temple of Psychic Youth, three armed crosses like this are magickal symbols referring, among other ideas, to the integration of body, mind, and spirit. This cross also alludes to a TV antenna because TOPY and its descendants believe in transformation of/and through the media by acts of poetic terrorism. A three armed cross that looks completely different from this refers to the crucifixion of Christ
In the Book of Revelations the number 666 is the number of the Great Beast of the Apocalypse. Although Alesteir Crowley sometimes referred to himself as "The Beast", his number was 777, the number of heads on the Beast. Actually 666 is the number of Baphomet. 333 is the number of Choronzon, the demon ego.
Think all references to 666 are evil? In Chinese culture, 666 sounds a lot like the words 'Things going smoothly'. It is considered one of the luckiest numbers in Chinese culture. It can be seen prominently in many shop windows across the country, and people often pay extra to get a mobile phone number including this string of digits. A terrible fear of 666 is known (more or less tongue-in-cheek) as 'hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia.'

A design originated by H.P. Lovecraft, the inventor of the Cthulu Mythos*, the Gate is both a ward against and a doorway to the Elder Gods. The sign is, in a way, a graphical representation of Yog Sothoth (the Key and the Gate). For those foolhardy enough to try Necronomiconic magick, this is a talisman powerful enough to protect you from becoming a TV snack for the inhuman gods of the mythos.
*if you actually have to go to those links to find out who Lovecraft is and what the Cthulhu Mythos is; this jewelry IS NOT FOR YOU!

Fabuloso and elegant version of the Necronomicon Gate - make Cthulu happy! These prices, btw, include that fancy, heavy 14kt bail! Email us if you want that a lighter one.
If you like invoking alien gods who seem to regard human beings as you would a cheap wine, you should probably have a Necronomicon Gate or two hanging about your ceremonial space and on your finger. This ring, the table of which is about 1 inch (25.4 mm) in diameter, cannot be made smaller than American size 10. Mark is still not sure how he fabricates it. Probably with the help of the Dread Messenger of the Gods, Nyarlathotep. Cost is $400 and up, or whatever the Elder Gods decree.
