- We always make sure that we use the highest quality findings on our chains. We always solder all open links. The jewelry trade has a nasty habit of not soldering important links on chains and using spring clasps. Spring clasps can't be soldered (they have a little steel spring within them which loses its temper) and frequently break. We use lobster clasps where the strongest part of the clasp is the part that gets the most wear.
- Since we make most of our chains from spooled chain, we can cut them any length you want, We'll even cut to fractions of inches.
- In terms of length, most women wear 16" chains as short chains.
