| Egyptian God of the Dead, this Anubis is from a hieroglyph in The Book of the Dead as he is about to weigh a human heart against a feather. As the myth goes, if the heart is heavier than the feather the ka or soul is doomed to hell. Anubis is the guardian of the west, and later, in Greco-Roman myth, a god of earth and sky. | ||||||||||||
